Mia wins at Budo Fight Show in Liverpool
On Saturday 19th February two of our girls took to the ring at the BUDO Fight Show in Liverpool. Mia Woodward dominated her opponent in her bout to record a convincing win and was presented with a title belt. Ellie Heyworth fought well and appeared to have done enough to win her bout, however the judges saw it differently and gave the win to her opponent which even surprised the coaches who came over to apologise to Ellie as they believed she should have won. Ellie showed real class in the way she accepted the decision however disappointed she was feeling at the time and showed exactly how we expect our students to react in these situations.
