Tejay and Kyrah enjoy more success in the Revolution Series

Eleven of our students travelled up to Tyneside to compete at the North East Open Championships in what was the last tournament of the five event Revolution series. Amongst our squad were Tegan and Brayden Dearden and Mackenzie Hanson who were all making their competitive debuts.  Our rookies did well on their first showing with Brayden claiming a 3rd place in light contact being the highlight of their performances, others placed third included Lewis Love – Ashton in both semi and light contact and Jason Parkinson in semi contact.

Second places went to Jason Parkinson, Idress Hussain, Romeo Navaratnam in light contact along with Harvey Grenfell and both Romeo and Eromi Navaratnam in semi contact with the later also enjoying a win in her light contact division, our other winners  Tejay Bacon and Kyrah Khan won in both disciplines to continue their domination of  their respective divisions throughout the year and maintained their 100 % records for the entire series, both are pictured with the belts they received in recognition of their achievement, our congratulations go to them both…‘
